Want To Be More Noticed In Business?

Last year I took the advice of my friend, Andrew Griffiths, and went to a Key Person Of Influence presentation in Sydney. What is a Key Person Of Interest you ask? Well, apparently it is a person who is highly regarded; a leader in their industry; making them more successful in business and earning more money.

Sounds good right?

The one day event was awesome. Here are the main takeaways I learnt on the day which were based on the Key Person Of Influence’s five P’s which are:

  1. You need a perfect “Pitch”:
It is said that it is not the best product or service that wins, but the best pitch. If you don’t have an amazing pitch, you will struggle. Perfect your personal and business pitch.
  2. You need to “Publish” your ideas:
Whether this be through blogging, writing a story in a magazine, or writing a whole book; publishing your thoughts builds your credibility, authority and attracts fresh opportunity.
  3. “Productise” your value:
Turning your skills, talents and ideas into products is a great way to earn extra money. The market is being flooded with courses, templates and more. Do you have any you could put together for your business?
  4. Raise your “Profile”:
You are who Google says you are. Go on, Google yourself-what does it say? If you want to boost your profile, your need to boost this element of your life. You need to have LinkedIn (with an up to date profile!) and a profile of you on your business website as a start.
  5. Build “Partnerships”:
This is where you solve other businesses problems. Partnerships scale both businesses, build mutual credibility and provide complementary products and services to add more value to a customer. If you have a partnership that you would like to collaborate on with me, that provides a win-win, flick me an email here.

In a nutshell, it was a great day and well worth attending.
